A/V Capabilities

  • Technology in the conference room includes: MS Windows supported computer, VGA connector, podium, two presentation screens, wireless presentation clicker, built-in microphones and speakers for sound, CatChat2X Wi-Fi, Skype for Business, Windows Audacity for audio recordings, and Adobe Connect for live video streaming.
  • PLEASE NOTE: the requesting department is responsible for setting up their own technology.

Catering

  • Can self-cater or use outside catering

Rental

  • There is no fee to use the conference room; however, the requesting department will be held responsible for any damages (including stained carpeting).

Guidelines

  • The conference room is available only during business hours (Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:30pm)
  • Any reservations that begin or end beyond regular business hours must be approved by Michelle Robinson at mrobinson57@gsu.edu or 404-413-2530 prior to submission.
  • PLEASE NOTE: the requesting department is responsible for setting up the conference room, setting up their own technology, and for cleaning up the conference room afterwards.
  • Please add at least 45 minutes to the start time of the event and the end time of the event for conference room set up, technology testing, and clean up.  For example: if your event starts at 1pm and ends at 2pm, your reservation should be for 12:15pm to 2:45pm so you have ample time to set up, test your technology, and clean up the conference room.
  • The conference room has 12 rectangular tables, 3 highboys, and 36 chairs for use.
  • CANCELLATION POLICYin the event of imminent cancellation, please call or email Michelle Robinson at mrobinson57@gsu.edu or 404-413-2530 at least 24 hours prior to your start time of your reservation.
  • Reservations are first come, first serve.
