EVENT SPACES

Bennett Brown Room
The Bennett Brown Room is on the 18th floor of the Commerce Building at 34 Broad Street NW. The building has an attached parking deck and secure access. The space can accommodate up to 100 guests, depending on setup.
Centennial Hall
Georgia State acquired Centennial Hall in 2013, its centennial year. The facility is the former home of the Atlanta Life Insurance Company. It is now home to the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, the Honors College and the Welcome Center.
College of Arts & Sciences Event Center
This multi-purpose facility is equipped to handle all of your meeting and event needs. In the heart of downtown Atlanta, this facility is available for rent by groups inside or outside the university.
College of Law
This modern building features a flexible salon-ballroom space, large ceremonial courtroom and a variety of smaller seminar rooms. The versatile, accessible spaces and modern technology support an event of any scale.
Convocation Center
A modern, flexible and easily accessible multipurpose event facility in the heart of downtown Atlanta, on one of the most dynamic campuses in the country. With capacity to accommodate up to 8,000 in attendance, and the latest audio-visual capabilities, the Convocation Center offers a premier event space, centrally located and fully equipped to leave a lasting impression.
Creative Media Institute
The CMII facilities are available for use by industry professionals and members of the Georgia State community. If you would like to schedule facilities for your use or would like to host an event at CMII, complete the use request form and a staff member will contact you to discuss your needs.
Indian Creek Lodge
The Lodge is a premier venue for meetings, conferences, retreats and social events. As the first LEED-certified building at Georgia State, the Lodge houses a large multipurpose room, two breakout meeting rooms, an open lobby reception area with a fireplace, a catering kitchen, and front and rear decks with outside eating.
Internal Use Spaces
Georgia State has a few smaller spaces that can be used by internal groups.
- Cinefest is a student-run movie theater and can be rented for private events.
- The Library North Rooftop Terrace is available for occasional events sponsored by GSU departments.
- The College of Education & Human Development has Room 150 and the Lobby available for events.
Perimeter College Spaces
The Perimeter College Facilities and Events Services Department supports students, faculty, staff and external clients by providing assistance related to facilities and events on the Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody and Newton campuses.
Dahlberg Hall, Room 350
The Study Abroad Programs and International Partnerships and Agreements, part of International Initiatives, is located at the International Center on the third floor of Dahlberg Hall.
Rialto
The Rialto Center for the Arts, downtown at the corner of Luckie and Forsyth streets, is one of the best Atlanta venues for concerts, performances, film screenings, meetings, weddings, receptions, private parties, banquets, proms and more.
Student Center
The Student Center is designed primarily to facilitate student activities. University departments are also encouraged to use the facilities and take advantage of the services. All spaces within the center are available to off-campus organizations for programs, activities and services that are consistent with the university mission.
University Club
The University Club features four unique spaces: Main Dining Room, Champions Club, and the Touchdown Lounge.
